

You will need to pair the Fit with the Samsung Smartphone. The firmware update (when available) gets updated automatically when connected with the smartphone. The device runs on customized OS called Tizen. The Fit makes use of Bluetooth 4.0 technology for communicating with the Samsung devices. The Samsung Gear Fit is IP67 certified which means it is totally protected against dust and can survive being submerged underwater – not more than 1 meter for 30 minutes. There are accelerometer, heart rate and gyro sensors. The strap can be changed if need (available in different colors).

The strap is made of good quality rubber and there are two metal studs to secure the strap as per your wrist size. This futuristic looking device looks more like a band. The device is light weight at just 26 grams. On the rear side there is the charging port and heart rate sensor. There is a single power button on the right side.
